About the Course:

This is a 2-year programme aimed at enhancing the capacity to manage water and waste water treatment plants. By the end of the course students should be able to:
• Produce portable water at minimum cost and capable of operations and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment plants
• Have an understanding and ability to apply policies and legislation in line with water and waste management
• Operate and maintain water distribution systems and wastewater reticulation systems
• Treat problem water by applying selected methods such as aeration, water softening, reverse osmosis, desalination and chemical precipitation
